Lionel Ricou is the founder of Access Public affairs & Communications. He has close to twenty years’ experience in the communication sector, ten of which were in public affairs and lobbying. He was a senior advisor in a Swiss public-relations firm and a policy manager, a post that he created, for a large national organisation in Berne which worked in the area of health and the elderly.

He has successfully guided his clients who belong to various fields such as transportation, energy, health, mass consumption, multinationals, culture, law and land planning. He has worked with SMEs, multinationals, government agencies, quasi-public bodies, associations and campaign committees.

Lionel has been a member of the Swiss Society of Public Affairs for 10 years and has also been its vice-president.

He was educated in Geneva and Zurich. He holds a Master of Political Science and a Master of Arts from the University of Geneva, and a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Public Affairs Management from the University of Applied Sciences in Business Administration, Zurich.

Passionately committed to serving his community, Lionel has been and still is a member of several association committees. He is also a member of the Geneva City Parliament, a member of the Geneva Home-Care Institution’s board of directors and the chairperson of the Economy Silver Circle
